What is the best way to get to resort?

What are the car parking facilities?
There is a section called “parking” on all the chalet and apartment pages giving you an indication of what is available to you
If I am driving, do I need to take snow chains/ is it best to hire or buy them?
We would recommend that you have a set of chains. If you are taking your own car then it is worth owning a set. If you are hiring a car then we recommend you hire a set.
No Food provided, what should we do?
All of the chosen resorts have excellent supermarkets and restaurants. You can simply do as you please. Eat and drink what you want when you want.
Is linen included?
Sometimes. Read the section “What the price pp includes” on each chalet/apartment page and it will tell you
What do we do if linen is not included?
You can now reserve your linen online when you book. Its simple and it means that you won't have to bring your own. It will be in your accommodation when you arrive.
What is the best airport to fly to?
This will depend upon which resort your chalet/apartment is based in. There are 3 main airports, Geneva, Lyon and Turin and 3 smaller ones, St Etienne, Grenoble or Chambery. As a rule the best airports for the French Northern Alps in preferential order would be Geneva, Lyon, St Etienne,Chambery and Grenoble. For the French Southern Alps in preferential order would be Lyon, Grenoble, Chambery, St Etienne and Turin. Turin really only applies to Risoul and Serre Chevallier.
Is insurance included in the price?
No insurance is not included, please see the insurance page
Is it better to get car rental, taxi or public transport from the airport?
This will depend entirely upon your group needs. Price wise hiring a car is an excellent value way of getting to resort – see links page
Do I need to book these in advance?
Definitely book in advance
Is there a catered option? Or can I hire a food service?
There is no catered option available yet but we shall be looking at offering this as a possible option in the future

Are there reps from your company in resort?
There are reps in Tignes, Les 2 Alpes, Alpe D’Huez, Risoul, Oz en Oisans, Les Menuires and Val Thorens. In all the other resorts we use agents to handle keys and deposits. Contact numbers and relevant information will be provided in the pack you receive from us prior to travel.
Is there a cleaning service or do we have to clean up at the end?
You are expected to leave your chalet/apartment as you found it when you arrived. There is usually a cleaning service available for an additional charge.
How do I get my lift pass?
Your lift passes will be issued by the reps in resort or a voucher will be given to you that you can present at the lift pass office – make sure you have photos!!
Do I need a passport photo for my lift pass? Yes most definatley

What happens about pre-booked ski hire?
You will be issued with vouchers for your hire that you can use at the nearest Ski Set shop.
When and Where do I pay my refundable damage deposit?
In most cases you will pay your damage deposit upon arrival of your accommodation, at the reception desk. For those cases that you have to pay prior to departure you will be sent a separate invoice ONLY for your refundable damage deposit.
In most cases you will pay your refundable damage deposit when you arrive in resort, this will be handed over at the reception desk in exchange for your keys etc. In some cases, normally individual chalets or large luxury apartments, you will be required to pre pay a damage deposit in the Uk. You will be sent this damage deposit invoice seperately which you will need to pay over the phone as you did with your balance
